作者简介:
[加]C·霍奇金森：克里斯托弗·霍奇佥森(Christopher Hodgkinson), 生于1928年3月10日，加拿大人。现任维多利亚大学教育管理和公共管理学教授，教育管理系主任。1959年获伦敦大学经济和政治学成绩优等学士学位。1964年获不列颠哥伦比亚大学教育管理学硕士学位。1968年在伯克利加利福尼亚大学工作后，获不列颠哥伦比亚大学教育博士学位。1980年任安大略教育研究所客座教授。同年，获哈佛大学伦理学与公共政策亨利·卢斯(Henry Luce)教席。1982年任加拿大社会科学与人文学科研究会会员。1982-1983年任剑桥大学高级研究学者。1985年任安大略教育研究所研究员。著有论文数十篇。主要著作有:《行政哲学(Towards a Philoscphy of Administration)》(1978), 《领导哲学(The Philosophy of Leadership)》(1983)，《教育领导，道德艺术(Educational Leadership, The Moral Art)》(1991), 等。其中, Towards a Philosophy of A dministrasion被译成中文:《行政哲学》 (New York St: Martin's Press, 1985); The Philosophy of Leadership被译成中文:《领导哲学》(云南人民出版社1987年版)
