Self-Knowledge of Personality: Its Accuracy and Limits

  • 摘要: 人格的自我知识是指个体对自己思维、情感、声望及行为模式的自我知觉,通常借助于内省、行为的自我观察和他人观察获得。人格的自我知识与行为表现之间有适度的相关,人们对自己的人格具备一定的洞察力,其准确性随人格维度而变化。受信息障碍和动机障碍的影响,人格的自我知识存在自身的局限性,自我知觉中的盲点和动机性因素使人们不可能像陌生人那样不带偏见地判断自己的人格,人格的自我知识与他人知识具有不对称性。为了提高人格自我知识的准确性,提供真实的反馈信息、降低自我保护动机、运用正念技术以及坚持做自己是比较行之有效的途径。
