作者简介:
左焕琪，1939年生，1961年华东师大外语系毕业。八十年代赴美进修，获乔治城大学语言学博士学位。长期从事外语教学与研究工作。历任华东师大外语系主任，国外考试中心主任兼主考，上海市英语高考改革研究小组组长等职。现在美国乔治华盛顿大学多媒体语言教学项目任职，主要著作有“全国中学英语教学调查与分析”, “上海市英语高考改革评析与修改方案”和“外语测试的发展和改革”等。1985一87年任国家教委高教一司与中学司联合主持的科研项目“十五省市中学英语教学调查”领导小组组长。该项目经国家教委鉴定，达到国际先进水平。1988年获国家科委重大科研成果奖。
