    作者简介:

    [英] M·B·萨瑟兰:玛格丽特·B·萨瑟兰(Margaret B.Sutherland)毕业于格拉斯哥大学(GHlasgow Univeraity),曾在格拉斯哥乔丹希尔学院(Jordanhill Colleze)接受教师培训。在中小学任教几年后,先后任贝尔法斯特(Belfast)女王大学(Quen 's University)的教育学讲师、高级讲师, 剮教授。她后来成为利兹大学(Universi:y of Leeds)的教育学教授,直至退休。1974~ 1985年期间, 担任《英国教育研究杂志(B:tish J ounal of Educational Sundies)》的主编,著肖《日常想黎与教育(Everyd.y Imagining and Eduo tion)》(1971).《教育中的性别偏见(Scx Bias in Education)>(1981)、《大学里的女教师(W omen whuv txaoh in Univerai- ties)》(1985)、《教育理论(T:eory of Educaticn)>(1888)等。在杂志上发表了许多文章, 并为其他人主编的书籍撰写过许多章节。她现在是苏格兰教育研究委员会(Sottish oouncil for R.se.. rch in Eduoation)的名誉研究员、欧洲比较教育学会(Eurooin Soaiety for Conparative Education)>的名誉会员。最近她还担任高尔顿研究所(G. lion Institate)和法语地区比较教育协会(Associ..ion Fr. ncphore d Education Comparse)的会长, 继续从事教育研究和写作
